Well I haven't heard anything about the C-Max but all of the others posting about its use on the Fusion and Taurus are stating the Same Sequence used on My Accord Coupe. PRESS ONCE to Unlock the Drivers Door. PRESS TWICE to Unlock the Passenger/Remaining Doors. PRESS A THIRD TIME and Hold Till the Windows Beging Oppening then Release to Roll Down the Windows. This Sequence Makes Perfect Sense to Me, so if the C-Max doesn't work like this Ford Screwed Up in My Opinion.
On the Ford C-Max, press unlock (once) and doors unlock and if even by accident, the unlock button is depressed for 3 seconds again, all 4 windows go down. If the Key Fob is in your pocket and coins or a nail clipper press on the unlock button, you could return to find your Vehicle parked in your driveway with all 4 windows down after its been raining all night. Ain`t that fun? All this for the (convenience) of being able to roll down your windows a few seconds before you reach your Vehicle to let some hot air escape. I live in South Florida and I still don`t want or need this "feature"!

Why do you have coins and nail clippers in your pockets in the first place is this 1991? Maybe don't wear skinny jeans?

how much shit is in your pockets? You're talking about a 1/1000000 type thing. Why are your pockets so tight that coins would press a button on a key fob?

Where do you keep (your) change or nail clipper, Sir? In your (purse)? Oh, I forgot, you don`t use Money, right? Pay for everything by using your "Smart Phone" instead?

Hey Dog Lover.....Check out Blue Oval News and other Posters in the C-Max Forum and see if everyone else who experienced their windows opening thanks to "Global Open" were also wearing, "tight jeans". Maybe your right, too many Milk Bone Treats for my Dogs stuck in my pockets!

I was just trying to be funny. I see you take things personal are you sure you don't have a purse?

I clip my nails at home and use my debit card. Would you like a tin foil hat while your at it?

All of those key issues can be solved with a simple change in habits. I only keep my phone, wallet, and keys in my pockets. Keys go into a cargo pocket with nothing else. If I need to carry more than that I'll grab a bag or backpack. If I'm wearing shorts with no cargo pockets I'll keep the keys with my wallet which has no chance to press the buttons.

Sounds like you have a fine plan. I have one also. Having my "Global Open" feature disabled.

I`ll pass on the tin foil hat but I do enjoy sarcasm. If you have any 1991 issues of Mad Magazine hanging around, I`d certainly be appreciative if you sent them my way. I`ll start carrying a purse when I finally get around to purchasing a "blue tooth" devise and a Smart Phone. If your not old enough to remember when Pay Phones had (doors) you probably can`t relate. Cheers
PS: Just curious, if you chip/break a nail and your (not) at home, what do you use? Your teeth?

Just scrape it (sand it) on the cement to remove jagged edge and move on. Will fix it when I get home. I remember payphones with doors and I have a smart phone :-)

Seriously though, folks who don't like this should be able to disable it. Or carry just the car key with nothing else in that pocket.

Funny, guess the wait for the 2015 Mustang to finally reach Dealer Lots has finally taken its toll, lol. Ford took the raps off its 2015 Mustang early in 2014, opened its Unscheduled Order Bank for the Fastback Coupe in late May with the Convertible postponed until JOB2 whenever Ford decides that will be, probably in the Spring of 2015. So much time to dwell on nonsense, I must admit. Perhaps, Ford will launch its next "new thing" 2 years before it actually arrives. Carly Simons has a huge hit......"Anticipation", guess Ford took the lead.

From day ONE, December 5th 2013, Ford had a goal for FALL delivery of 2015 Mustang. And LATE 2014 for the convertibles. Everything moving along as planned.
Now if some jumped the guns and thought they would get their new 2015 Mustang during summer, shame on them for not paying attention.
Ford did this exact same thing 10 years ago for the 2005 Mustang and the release went smoothly and people loved the 2005 bodystyle, but of course there were still a few people complaining about the "delay" when they were expecting the 05s to come out summer of 2004 when Ford all along said Fall 2004.
Good day , sir!

With no JOB2 date released and Sept being a few weeks away, Convertibles will arrive by Dec, 31? Maybe a Dealer Stock "Demo" but doubtful a Retail Special Order. The Unscheduled Order Book for Convertibles hasn`t opened yet with prices to date. Simply error messages with Material Hold pending JOB2.
