Auto Brightness Not Working

Anybody else having issues with auto brightness not working with sync 3? About 1 in 10 startups, the screen is full dim, regardless of how bright it is outside. I have to manually toggle the auto brightness setting in the options for it to start working again. I did a full reset of sync 3 and still have the issue.

make sure the light sensor isnt covered up on the front dash

This happens to me with Sync 2, as well.

Yes. I keep a small pad to cover the sensor and cycle thru a night/day simulation and that clears it. Not worth fighting the dealer with a "problem not found" BS.

Raising this from beyond the grave. Did the dealer fix it? I'm having the opposite issue where the screen is super bright at night, adjusting the brightness manually fixes it but what's the point of having auto brightness if it isn't auto?

It doesn't do it any more. Not sure which update fixed it, sorry.
