I am not sure any scissor jack will fit with the rails (unless you have an adapter, the rails are about two inch wide and flat).

Thing is that the scissor jack AA sells with the spare have some funny "head" (https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/spare-tire-kit-for-brembo-brake-stangs.183855/post-3703098), which I have no idea how to match properly to the car :). I asked AA and their replay was that the jack is an exact same as the Ford OEM (which Ford no longer gives) - which seems true, the Ford OEM jack has the same head, but everyone I showed it to, was clueless as I :).

I believe the best would be jack with rubber insert with a split you could put on the pinching weld without any worry.
The pinch welds are rendered moot when the jacking rails are installed. I'm guessing there is about 1&3/4" of flat area for a rubber puck or similar to press against. I am confident that I can come up with something that will work just fine.

The spare jack supplied (if you option for it) by AA is a current Ford style. Which grips the pinch welds. One side of the jack head is higher than the other to better grip the pinch weld. Now this would cause a problem with Jacking rails, with a flat surface. Simple fix look on line for earlier Ford model with even surface. This jack will work both with jacking rails and pinch welds should.. you need it. Have one sitting in my trunk. Look for a Ford 1F1Z-17080-AA unit 1979-2004
