Australian VIN numbers

I have just been provided with a VIN for my new car. :clap2:

Just wondering if anyone else has theirs yet?
And if so - have they tried to see if it appears in COTUS yet?

In the order it shows something called "Segmentation Date: 24 AUG 2015"
I'm not sure if this is the build date but it could be..??

I also noticed that it says it is a " My2016"

i wonder who thinks up these terms?

I would suggest it has to be build date given its December delivery?

It also says "ETA: 31 OCT 2015" and my dealer has said it will be a late October - early November delivery

I am having colour regret already!

Ordered race red and was tossing up white.. magnetic and even orange..

Then i find out race red was the most ordered colour..

DOH
