I think Roush axle-back is around AUD$800 or so from Mustang Motorsport plus postage, so not too bad.

Steeda also have an axle-back but bit difficult to describe the sound.
Its $825 from Mustang Motorsport, will suit if you are local. Guys on the phone were very helpful.
I bought from car Mods Australia, they matched the price and only charge $13 flat rate for postage. which might be even cheaper than MM.
Another forum member from VIC ordered from them after I mentioned this.
I bought from them because they are local to me and saved the postage too.
The business owner Daniel and Sales manager Tim, both were more than helpful in placing the order and follow up.
The order was delayed and they explained everything and offered to help me in any possible way.
I was pleased with the customer service and its good to know that local Aussie retailers are keen to get the business and value the customers to retain them by offering competitive prices and excellent customer service, unlike a very few American vendors. :first:

Around 8th of this month. Roush stuffed it up. Not CMA's fault. Not too far now.
Cheers

After reading this entire thread and a few others on this forum, I don't know if I'm more confused or certain with what to buy. Borla, Roush and Corsa, have been going back and forth between them.

Has anyone gone down the path of aftermarket cat back then decided to do headers from X-force or Hurricane?

I'm pretty keen on the Ford Racing by Borla Sport or Touring with the quad tips and GT350 valance. Only thing I'm a bit unsure of is if further down the track we decide to do headers there will be compatibility issues with using the existing exhaust. Don't really want to fork out on a catback then later on have to replace it when doing the headers.

You won't have to replace it, you can buy headers that mate up at the stock position. Or better yet just get an exhaust shop to fab up a couple of connection pieces for the new headers, to get rid of the bottleneck, should only be a few hundred bucks

Anyone here that has gone black tips bothered to also paint their mufflers (and axle back piping or more) black given some systems expose the bottom sections of the mufflers below the valance?

Got any blacker?

Good question - the Borla with black tips has nice shiny mufflers to ruin the look, but I thought I'd seen one of the other brands actually having a black back on the mufflers - can't find it now though.

Nice choice of colours on the 'stang BTW :headbang:

Guys, if anyone in Sydney is tossing up between the various exhausts and wants to hear a MBRP Street catback in person, just PM me - more than willing to help out because I know how much everyone else here helped me out :D

Personally it ticked all my boxes, especially considering its value!
