Yeah I just watched it, does sound good for sure. I just remembered I'd read a few reviews that said it gets real raspy, which doesn't seem to show up in videos

Edit: Maybe that's just the street :shrug:

It surprised me I thought it sounded great....BUT I guess videos never seem to give a true sound, wish there were more in Perth to hear in the flesh.....

Has anyone looked at bring over the GT350 Exhaust system...

doesn't look like it'll be cheap, but the rear end with the new fascia looks amazing...

i watched the install video, its a pain in the ass to install the fascia, but looks great.. you can hear the exhaust at the end of the exhaust install.. starts at 17.45min

no rasp in mbrp race version that I've heard. it drones and is noisy inside at certain points, but not raspy. very deep

Well don't think I will be ordering the Borla from best exhaust on principle alone. Called them and you get a receptionist. She asked what I was calling about and I explained I was interested in the Borla but I could get the magnaflow for $1800 or import for a lot less and I was wondering if they were able to offer a slightly better price at all. She told me to hold and then came back after a few minutes and said that is the price, no less. Didn't even get to talk to the people that make the decisions and they didn't have any room to move at all. Told her ok that's fine, I won't be ordering from you and hung up. Pretty poor customer service to not even have someone other than the receptionist speak to me and not be prepared to move even slightly. If supercat was able to reduce the cost of my magnaflow by $300 when I asked, pretty sure they can knock $20-$50 off a Borla.

I just installed the MBRP Street Catback last night. Such a beast.

IMO, Jack stands will be very hard (not recommended), ramps will do, and a hoist will be heaven

The thing to note is that the OEM catback is one piece - being on a hoist was a big plus for this. (2 guys to grab and take it out

Other than that, there's a few screws in odd places (near the tip) that may be hard to reach with limited headroom under the car (hence no jack stands).

In saying all that, it comes down to your experience - I've never done a catback before.

Decided to just go with the magnaflow street. Wanted black tips but I'll just have to suck it up. The street will give me that nice deep sound without the drone.
