Love my mbrp race. By the way i wouldn't judge solely from Youtube clips, i based mine off clips and feedback. The biggest drawback i saw for the race was the drone, the street complaints are from rasp (mostly). In the end wanted a deep sound that didn't rasp and I think I got it. Yes it drones, particularly in 6th on the highway, but you can drive around the worst of it, mine isn't a daily driver. Got the tick of approval from the wife too after a 2 hour round trip!
How does it go on the Richter scale of loudness?

Tough to say. But I will say this, it wasn't as loud as me or my installer thought it would be. I have heard a full hurricane system and found that to be way too quiet even with the loudest mufflers. I wouldn't have it any quieter!

also worth noting their headers look great but it would be a custom job to match to any cat back system out there

Absolutely torn on choosing an exhaust haha. I just know it's going to sound different to the clips on YouTube.

I have no idea what I want anymore hahaha.
Thought the MBRP sounded really good in videos... Deep and loud and smooth!

Definitely hard to make a decision.

Only options are to use videos and reviews...(and use some caution with who's reviews you listen to) and make a decision that way...keeping in mind the practicality boxes you need to tick for the exhaust.

or

Wait to hear in person. Which will only be easier as time passes. I was lucky enough to hear a couple set ups at the Vineyard show the other week.

Personally I looked at every exhaust as much as possible, reviews/videos/past experience with exhausts etc, and ended up with the FRPP sport, and I am still confident in my decision (having not heard it in person yet haha)
I think it ticks all the boxes for me, Ill admit its probably not the No.1 choice exhaust for me, but its a slight compromise to maintain livability.

(No1 choice was corsa xtreme)

There are easily 10 or so exhausts I would be happy with, but at some point you have to make a decision, and go with it.
