Well the betting god's were on my side and managed to turn $20 into $2100.
I like the way you think, I did the same thing for my plates, can't quite seem to get the gods on my side for the exhaust haha

footy season is close though!

Have you tried the local Magnaflow distributor Supercat Convertors?
I got the catback for the V8 fitted for $2000.00 the system itself was around $1800.00 and if you have any issues you have local backup. I imagine the price for the ecoboost system would be less, but don't know for sure. You would guess they would try to match or beat the US price to stop people bringing them in themselves.

Just a thought.

How long ago did you get it for that price?

Magnaflow have also been spamming most exhaust stores, I called up a few places for an install and they said they received a bunch of marketing material recently

Awesome thanks so much!
Spoke to them, and will be getting it locally instead :D
Anyone else keen on the magnaflow let me know, they mentioned a discount if atleast 2 or more people get it together. Just found out that they are the official importers /distributers of magnaflow so they have some space to play around with pricing

Good to hear. With all the bolt on goodies available from the USA, I think a lot of us are overlooking local suppliers completely. For sure on a lot of things buying in from the USA is the cheapest option, but I think that as more of these cars hit the streets we will hopefully start to see more items available here at a comparable price. Or maybe I am living in dreamland:)

Not dreaming at all. With the current exchange rates, it's no surprise that prices are on par or similar.

yeah absolutely
Just on a side note, Found a good local supplier for eibach goods, vossen wheels, custom forged wheels & they are also the distributor for continental tyres. Very good competitive price, asking them for a complete price list, will create another thread for this soon.

Got my Magnaflow street series installed on the Ecoboost and love it. Nice refined deep tone and doesn't sound obnoxious at all. If you want something on the conservative side then the street series is perfect.
