Ok at last I have decided on an exhaust pheeeww. After much thought and many hours listening with headphones the one that ticked all my boxes and suits future extractors and cats is for me the Borla Touring. NOW I need to work out wether I buy from the US directly off a site sponsor or find one in Oz or even better in Perth????

I reckon if you are going to long tube headers in the future, that you have made a good decision Daz...they will up the volume level a fair bit.....The touring have the same mufflers as the s type, they just run a resonator in place of the x pipe. If you find them too quiet, you can fit an x or h pipe until you get the headers, then put the resonator back in..all bases are covered.

That's what I was thinking there is some leeway for changes.

Hey guy's, been reading your posts re- exhausts, CAI and springs and then of course the tune. I'm Sydney based and looking for someone to do these mods for my 2015 Mustang GT PP manual Magnetic. For those of you that are still waiting for delivery, believe me it's worth every waiting moment, love my car....

Good to hear, where are you thinking of going to get the work done?

roxoff11 Give Khalid a call. Taurus Service Centre, Girraween. (google the number).

Exceptional workshop. Top quality work and always honest. It's the only place I take my cars.

Yeah he does everything. I'm getting all of your mentioned parts and all the steeda stuff installed there. Girraween is near Seven Hills, unless that's too far for you.

The parts you mentioned are super easy to put on.

I'll be going to his workshop for everything except exhaust and CAI, which I'll do myself.

The car comes with P Zeroes. Unless you meant swapping the tires over to the Bathursts if they are also the same size.

I also wouldn't recommend running P Zeros, if you try and give it any form of acceleration it doesn't maintain traction. Maybe look and Nitto, Toyo, or Michelin Pilot Super Sports if you can stretch the cost.

Nitto's are great for straight line grip. Toyo's IMO are great for handling, had them on my evo, great in the wet too. MPSS (from what I've heard) are great all around.

Aus-MustangGT thanks for confirming the P-Zero's are trash lol

Hey can you do me a favor and check your tire build date when you get a chance? There should be a 4 digit number on it, ending in 15.

Careful with the P zeros. Id suggest driving the car to see how you like them first.

General consensus in the USA seems to be the PZeros are a weak link in the wheel hop issue, its been mentioned in a lot of threads. Most of the USA guys use the tyre change as opportunity to do a massive celabratory burnout to kill the Pzeros before fitting new rubber.

Don't kill them when you can get at least a grand for them :D

It's a pretty damn cheap top-up after that to go for MPSS's.
