What would be the difference between rhd and lhd headers? The engine is the same on both cars and the only thing that might be in the way is the steering shaft.
Can someone please take a photo of that area to see how much clearance is there.

So they found that the header wasn't clearing the steering shaft so it has been altered which is another reason why we have a lower power figure. I can't find the specific article but it is floating around somewhere.

Either way we just have to wait, Ford US wouldn't have gone to the trouble of making a new header system just for the sake of it. Apparently the rhd headers are one of the 'main things slowing production.'

LHD headers won't fit on ours. We can only use exhausts that go on after the catalytic converters to the back. Which basically means "catback". This has been confirmed.

I can think of one enthusiastic individual that would definitely add this to their mod list.

I will be doing the same....I pretty well have fitted headers to a large percentage of the cars that I have owned....I am hoping that Pacemaker here in Adelaide come up with a set, I have being using their stuff forever..

My car is currently at Pacemaker getting the headers manufactured, they are using it as the template for all RHD GT.

Borla exhausts

Anyone know any shops that import and install Borla S-Type cat back or Ford Racing Sport by Borla cat back on the GT?
Preferably in Sydney.

Mm Pony GT, Best Exhaust in Canberra are the official Australian distributors for Borla exhaust......Either purchase from them and fit it yourself, or purchase from them and get your local exhaust guy or friendly neighbourhood mechanic to fit it. It is a simple job to fit and can be done by anybody in an hour or so. They have no problem shipping them to you.

Great news Jnr Spook...I figured they wouldn't take long to get some underway. I have bought at least a dozen sets of their headers since they first started building them way back in the dark ages. Do you know if they are going to make them catted? That way any catbacks will just bolt up to them.
Any reason you didn't go the kpm set while you were getting the sc fitted?

Don't know if they are catted or not. The Streetfighter full exhaust utilises Pacemaker headers 1 7/8 Ceramic coated, hence why the car is there at the moment for development.

Hi MM
I bought mine from Best Exhaust in Canberra, price was cheaper than importing myself. They have recommended installers everywhere just ask for one close to you. The S Type cat back was about $2k, I think they may be a little dearer with the recent dollar drop.
