Hello,
Could anyone with audio expertise help me out? I recently bought a car, and the stereo wasn’t working initially. The head unit showed the volume increasing, but there was no sound. I took it to an audio shop, where they installed a new LOC, and the speakers worked perfectly for about a week. Now, they only function intermittently. Sometimes they work when I start the car, but other times they don’t. I’ve checked the fuses and found no problems, and I’ve also reset the sync system. Is there anything else I should look into?

Since they installed a LOC I’m guessing the car has an aftermarket system? We need more details of what the car has.

Assuming LOC is a line out converter, Can you see if you have audio from the sync system before the LOC? Also, if youre running external amp is it a single amp and getting power and ground? Some amps turn on by audio so if the sync isn’t supplying audio the amp relay won’t turn on.

Did you mess with forscan at all? My car had no sound for weeks till I figured out something got messed up in forscan. I reset mine back to stock dsp and acm settings and it worked again
