Nice write up, but all I could think was "poor bastard having to flat back that!!!" with a hoist and power tools it took me 3 hours to install my SW's

Yeh, for that amount of time and tools I would just pay someone the $700 or so to install them in a few hours. Love doing things myself but I know when my time is more valuable elsewhere (or just making more than that back)

Half way through I was thinking the same, but I already was to the point of no return. I honestly thought it would have taken me less time. Of course I ran into the issues described.

Good overview on everything. I'm sure you've learned a few things doing this install:)

Nice write up! Sort of like taking one for the team! I think you'll find it's all worth it when you step heavily on the right pedal. It makes a glorious noise!

Congrat's, on your install and a very nice write-up.
Doing your first header job on jack stands is like a "right of passage" step for the do-it-yourself mechanic. Even with the right tools not everyone is cut-out for this level of mod work.
Please post up some vid's of your finished work when you get the time.

Lund Racing for me. I don't think you can do this install without one

Did you guys completely remove the AC rubber/metal bracket? I took it out and just want to be sure the provided metal bracket for the top should hold everything tight. Thanks.
Jeepwx03. Thanks for this thread. It's helping me and so far I've installed the passenger side header.
