I hear you and I won't do it twice. I will live with my ultimate decision. If I go with the Corsa, I'm using an H pipe and not their double X. I've just never heard of anyone doing this yet. The ARH sounds awesome. I just don't like the tips. They aren't a show stopper; I'm just looking for the best of both worlds. I send Jay a PM to see what he can sort out for me.

Meanwhile, anyone know a good installer in the Austin, TX area?

Does anyone know if you can add larger tips to the ARH and possibly black anodized ones? Those tips need to fill up the cutouts to make it look better IMO.

Yeah. They are clamped on.

If I end up going ARH I am going to have something done with the tips. I want polished black, but will settle for flat / powder coat.

I like the ARH H-pipe by itself but once you add headers it loses some of that deep tone I like. Might still go that way. All I know is this MBRP HAS to go.

What's wrong with your mbrp? I'm looking to get a mbrp street. Isn't it similar to arh?

I had my tips ceramic coated. You can see the pictures in post 251.

The Race drones terribly in my car between 1500-2000. Having an Auto makes the situation worse. With the 3.15s I'm in the drone zone from 55-70mph which is everyone I drive.

says who?
Says all the videos I've watched of the full setup. Of course that's open to interpretation, but to me, headers really change the sound of it. I'm not saying it's bad at all. I actually like the full ARH sound but not on a Mustang. Again, that's my opinion.

Can anyone comment on the volume of the ARH cat back compared to the ford racing touring system? I'm not talking tone, just volume. I'm hoping this would land just a little louder than the touring system??

ARH is apparently 6/10 on the loud scale with 3/10 being stock. (says husker)

Mutt. I have the ARH catbacks and am thrilled with them. They can be quiet if you want, but hit the WOT button and WOW!!

It has an H-Pipe and the FR has an X -Pipe. The H gives you the lower rumble sounds while the X is the high pitch European sound! Like: a Base sound Vs a Treble sound. Do you want the more American sort of muscle rumble sound or will you be happy with a sewing machine sound??
