ARH catback question

OKAY, I know there are already a number of threads with info on this catback system but I would like to know a little bit more from people who have owned the system.

Does anyone find that the system isn't loud enough? I am not looking for something obnoxious but I want to know that it is an aftermarket exhaust when I am at WOT (some of the videos make it sound like it sounds exactly like stock...)

For example if the stock system is a 3/10 loud how loud would you say the ARH is on that scale?

I am almost positive I want this system but I dont want to regret it $1300 later!! I know that this is subjective and not everyone has the same opinions on what loud means but any help is appreciated!! :cheers:

farmunduh (and some others) think the system is too quiet. So if you're looking for something very loud (if you're doing catback only), ARH may not be for you.

However, I think it's perfectly loud.

If stock is 3/10:

Roush with X/H is 10. Loudest you'll get without headers.
Corse Xtreme is right behind 9-9.5
ATAK right there too 9-9.5

I had an ARH on my car first and I would say it's a 6. It's medium loud but a good tone.

I think the ARH is right for me. It is my daily driver so I am not looking for crazy loud, just loud enough to put a smile on my face!!

The other system I am seriously considering is the FRPP by Borla touring with the black tips. I know this is a different sound altogether but can anybody say how loud this system is???

problem is, exhaust is so subjective, just like somones sense of taste, everyone's sense of sound is different.

the arh is a great sounding catback, that doesn't mean you'll love it just because we do.

did you watch the video I posted above? You can hear how loud it is from far away (echo especially). Very sexy.

Jay at Hypermotive saw my post and messaged me about a brand new corsa exhaust that they developed along with corsa called the corsa sport catback. It is a similar sound to the extreme but it isn't quite as loud, exactly what I was looking for!! He showed me a video and not an hour later I purchased it through the Hypermotive website. Jay totally hooked me up and made my choice that much easier. The exhaust has an incredible sound and needless to say I am incredibly excited to receive and mount up my new catback. Another big thanks to Jay and all the guys at Hypermotive!!!
