I don't "need" tires and wheels until spring, but based on another thread here I decided to be proactive due to the long ship times for the Project6G wheels.
I contacted Need4Speed and he quoted me on a set of Nitto NT555G2's. I know pretty much nothing about car tires. If you want to talk truck or atv tires I can go on for hours. That said, my new (to me) GT will be staying stock motor wise outside of an Xpipe for the near future. I want a good set of tires on the car. It will really only be driven in nice weather. No winter driving, but it may see some cooler fall days. Rain could happen so some wet weather traction would be a plus.
What would everyone suggest? Maybe for my needs the G2's would be fine? The price quoted from Need4Speed seemed very good. My plan is to stay with 19" wheels. I'm looking for a flush/close to flush look with no poke.
