Not to detract from the purpose of this thread, but how's the tire cost track driving compared to drifting?

Good question! It depends on how much grip you want just like with track driving. And depends on if you try to conserve them or not, just like track driving. Good drifting tires are cheaper than road course tires, but you use more of them so still more expensive. Drifting is expensive but imo the trade off is that it’s generally much safer. And if it’s your thing, a boat load of fun.
