I'm running Motul on my 2016 TVS2650, have been for 2+ years, no issues to report.

Whipple told me to use 5w 50 oil? I like Motul, Redline Amsoil for performance cars/motorcycles.

I'm sure motul is fine. I use it in bikes as well. I can't imagine any syn oil not being sufficient. Hit up BITOG if you want to get needy about oil. I change mine so often, I put in any synthetic that is available. Usually 10w40 valvoline.

Amsoil is the best I use 0w40 and 5w50. Pure 5w50 in the summer partially 0w40 in the winter

I have used Amsoil too. It is a great oil. What FI and mods are you running? I couldn't imagine driving mine in the winter.

Oils are so good now, it really doesn't matter.

I agree, I have always used Mobil One in my cars forever, no issues. But on performance engines I lean more to a race oil. That's just me.

Would you use Motul or Redline rather than Mobil 1 if you owned an Ecoboost? They're, give-or-take, at the same specific output as your FI Coyote. Just as "performance".

Oil-change interval is faaaar more important than what oil you use.

Yes, for me a turbo is a high compression engine. But, unless your owners manual says different, you could use a reputable full synthetic like Mobil, Pensoil etc. I am not a Chemist who develops oils for DD cars or Racing Cars. So I go above and beyond on stuff like oils when in all reality, it might not make a difference. At the end of the day it's your choice to go in the direction you feel best suits your needs. But, always make sure you change your oil when nessasary and don't let it degrade to a point it cannot do its job. Good Luck

I don’t think that the mobil1 is really full sunthetic anymore. I found the viscosity really tanks with usage. Redline doesn’t seem to shear thin nearly as bad. I tend to think the motul 300v might be similar to the redline due to the ester content.
