Just found out a Sunoco by me sells 5 gal cans of 91, 95 and 110 ethanol free fuel. I was thinking of picking up a few 91 and 95 to mix and get 93/94, but was wondering if anyone has ever ran straight 95. It's only 2 over normal 93 rating and 94 used to be on pumps around me so I imagine 95 would be fine, but figured I'd ask first.

I'm tempted to next time I'm very low driving over and filling up with it to see how it does for a single tank.

My car hasn’t seen anything other than 94. I don’t think 95 would make much difference.
I know in my Ram 1500 if I put 94 in instead of 87, I get better milage but not enough to offset the cost.

Really no point unless you're on track and you're seeing some high temps that could cause some detonation. The computer does have the ability to add timing if it thinks the fuel is fine which I have actually seen before (11 gallons of 100, 5 of 91). But really it's not worth the money.

I remember for a while I had an Altima, I got so much better MPG on 89 that it offset the price difference between it and 87 and actually saved me money. Then 89 went up in price and made it not worth it anymore.
