We dropped our 2015 off yesterday at Vinyl Images here in St. Louis. They are doing a full wrap on it, just have to decide what color we want...

That looks amazing. What is that shade of blue called? And do you mind sharing how much you paid?

Careful oas some company's will use razor blades against the paint. I have Removed many vinyl wraps and I'd say 8/10 had razor marks. Does look good though.

It's different when you consider full vehicle vs. stripes

Doing a full-vehicle wrap in a matte or flat color makes the car look primered and cheap IMO. Satin is much classier and does have a slight bit of gloss to it

I've always been fond of the matte gunmetal stripes they put on black GT500's. Very subtle, yet awesome

I'm seriously considering that combination on my factory five roadster.

I've been thinking about getting the front 1/3 of my car wrapped in clear film. Life free of rock chips sure sounds nice but the 2 places here in Detroit I've talked to want $3500

That's about what you'd expect to pay for an entry level full-vehicle wrap

Give me friend Frank a call over at Notorious Tintz: http://www.notorioustintz.com/

They are located in Livonia, and he's very experienced

I was thinking of using the JARGON vinyl kit found on ebay to do my car. It looks like it would help protect some portions of the paint. The ONLY thing is that with that vinyl kit though removable it might cause the paint to unevenly wear. Meaning areas covered by the Vinyl aren't open to hte elements while areas that are not are. I might have a 2 tone mustang lmao!!!!

I wouldn't cheap out on Vinyl film, you'll want to use either Avery or 3M
