As someone who's going for a matte black stripes, let me know when you get it done. I can't figure out if matte or satin is the way to go or not.
It's different when you consider full vehicle vs. stripes

Doing a full-vehicle wrap in a matte or flat color makes the car look primered and cheap IMO. Satin is much classier and does have a slight bit of gloss to it

I've always been fond of the matte gunmetal stripes they put on black GT500's. Very subtle, yet awesome

One of the coolest wraps i've ever seen was satin pearl white.

I was always a HUGE fan of the factory matte black on the previous generation M3:

Personally, I'd think about getting a blue chrome wrap:

Or maybe just a regular chrome wrap.

You have the right idea with the matte black Jimmy. I had my G wrapped in 2008 in flat black. It was such a beast.

I was thinking about doing the fat stripe with the then stripes and then a bold red line (glossy) going down the fat stripe. Still playing around with ideas but I just don't like matching other people.

The "Frozen" paint cars from BMW are so awesome. I think we are leaning towards something similar for ours

We haven't finalized a design yet, but it's in the works

I'm doing my 3rd Rally North America rally this July and would love to put a wrap on my Mustang but I can't justify the cost.

If you click this donation link (shameless attempt at raising donations for Hope For The Warriors) you can see what my 2010 Mustang looked like for the last rally. :)

Yeah it's always been my favorite color and always wanted a car in this color. I did mine a little different to not match them completely with black roof and no side graphics

Are all these cars wrapped? I have some friends here in Dallas who don't wrap (too expensive) but they have them Plastidipped (pay like $500-$600 to do the whole car in a day). Literally he changes the color of his C7 every few months, mostly flat or matte colors.

I have thought about doing that once I get mine, but wheels and tune are the first priority :) But I do plan on doing the roof and mirrors matte black ASAP, to match the wheels I plan on putting on. I think it will look good with the Mag Gray I ordered :)
