Is anyone running a f1 pro charger? I'm thinking about it when I get my setup. What would be the pros and cons? I would imagine that it would get into the boost faster and wouldn't need a small pulley to make big numbers.

I'm running the F1a-94 on my 2012 GT. With a 3.9" pulley it makes 30psi at 8000rpm. My D1sc on 18psi "felt" better to me down low but the dyno graphs didnt show any torque difference between the two head units.

It mainly depends on you power goals. With the p1x and d1x are making stupid power numbers it's hard to justify the F series blowers until you want over 1000whp.

If you do end up with the F series get the f1a-94 over the f1a.

Just curious what is different about the 2 f1 blowers? I tell myself now that I won't want 1000 plus, but realistically I won't ever be happy with my power output LoL so looking to go f1 so I have room to grow

The f1a-94 is an updated version of the f1a. The intake is bigger as is the impeller and it takes less power to drive the blower. Those two blowers are the easiest to put on the coyotes since they use the same bracket as the P series and D series head units. Also, keep in mind that the F series blowers are loud. It takes me back to my fox body days with a screaming Vortech S-Trim.

Get the race intercooler, the Pro Race BOV, and 12 rib upgrades if you're looking to max the blower out.

What's the goal here?

The d1-x can get you over 1000. F1a-94 is a beast though

Billet Ysib Trim Vortech. Why fuck around...?
The YSI-B is no slouch but I wouldn't say it's better than the F1a-94. The Vortech is rated for 1400hp and the F1a-94 is rated for 1300hp. My car made 1301whp with the F1a-94, on drag tires, ran out of fuel, and in 4th gear with a 1.25 gear ratio. I think 1400whp is possible with a few corrections on my setup.

Seeing how u were "very concerned" at 1300whp, at 1400 you may have a heart attack LOL

With it being a new build i was a complete wreck. But yes you are correct...i may shut down on the next one lol. I've never been a fan of dynos and prefer the track

Live on road/track will always be better and more accurate than a dyno. Good stuff.
