Many reviewers have said that the EB is better bang for your buck and even the guy from Edmunds said that he couldn't believe he was saying it, but the EB was the better car then the GT. Plus when you add in the times you'd need the 400+ hp, which is few and far between for probably the majority of buyers, the EB again delivers and with the COBB mod coming, you're going to see 350+ HP in it and more torque.I have seen nothing in any of the reviews that would persuade me to change from a GT to an ecoboost.
I was under the impression that all mustangs (not just gt) were in short supply. Is this not the case?
The EB is better balanced, nimbler, has the better torque at low end and more responsive according to the reviews and for a DD, it's bar none the wiser and smarter choice.
Choosing a V8 because of the sound/engine really has nothing to do with anything other then you want a V8 because that's what you feel belongs in it...even if the statistics show that the EB is the better car all around for value for what you get.
So he should reconsider, especially if it's going to be a DD and he's going to be driving a lot.
