Anyone MANUAL with abt 800WHP with good street traction? What’s your setup? For dig & roll.

Thanks guys for your input.

How is this guy running Pilot sport 4s and having good traction? He says hes making 800WHP

I am making about 700whp and I have PS4's (for now)They work well but I have to feather the pedal and can't really go over 60% throttle. The plan is to get 555RII soon.

I should be in the low to mid 700s on PS4s and the top of second just blows the tires off at WOT. I’d strongly recommend a tire with better traction for 800WHP.

I have 315/35/20 on now in the rear I want it to stay the same height so it doesn’t look weird. And I want NT555r2. What size tires /rims for the rear ? Thanks

Nitto makes a 315/35-20, so maybe that size? 20x11 or 20x12 wheel.

Keep in mind if you step down to a 17 you're saving $125 and 3lbs per tire, and maybe 8-10lbs a wheel.

Are you city driving or for the track?
Are you wanting to go from a dig or rolling?

If CITY + ROLLING the Nitto RIIs will be more than enough for you if you are roling at like 50kph

If CITY and DIG then the Nitto 555 RII may not be for you as you really gotta heat them up to get them nice and sticky and normal city driving isn't going to do that.

I'm boosted and running 19" rims. 305/35R19 Nitto 555 RIIs on the back. I can tell you right now that if you are anywhere near 800whp you are still gonna blow them off with less throttle than you think.

I'm looking at trying Forgestar F14 Beadlocks in 17" with a 305/45R17 and switching to MT ET Street SS to improve city driving traction. But stuff gets expensive when you start talking beadlocks.

In my opinion (for what that is worth) anything more than about 600hp is basically a race car in street clothes and like some of the gentlemen above said; you gonna have to make some sacrifices.

From what I've read MT ET Street SS heat up better in city driving while the Nitto 555 RII heat up well on the track with some prep (burnouts, surface etc).

Thanks I ended up going with a 315/35/20 555rll. Traction is worse for you than it would be for me I have a Procharger

I would have gone with a MT ET Street S or ET Street R. Would have got a 17 wheel too.

Let us know how the R2 fairs. I had it on my n/a car and wasn't super impressed, I highly doubt it would hook on any low roll or dig. Hopefully you can hook on a 60 roll tho

Car sounds great! Couldn’t tell from the video but I am assuming from the comment that it wasn’t hooking at the lower speeds?

The good thing is the r2s are actually okay daily tires if it’s not crazy downpour and not colder than like 45.

You could always buy a 17 wheel and get a MT ET street R to run when you want to hook.

In this video I had on G2’s and they really weren’t terrible of course I know my car it’ll definitely not hook on those there was always spinning this is @ 850WHP 😂

Right now I pulleyed down and I’m on 93 so I’m only making 620WHP and I’m on run flats PZ4s and it’s not bad it actually hooks at 60 rolls 😂 I only got that tire for the cooler/rainy days and they do great I can speed in the rain.

I am waiting on my 555R2’s to come in hopefully aon Tuesday and I’ll update you! I will also be switching back to E85 so I’ll test it @ 850WHP and 620WHP.
