open your door.

notice there is only glass there? no frame around the window? frameless doors/windows.

nothing/nowhere for a vent visor to attach to.

we have frameless windows. not possible.
Not true, 02-07 Subaru's had frameless windows and had factory rain guards available. Also the BRZ and FRS have frameless windows and rain guards are available for those cars too.

You are correct. Can only attach to the roof. What's the point. ;)

May be available, but don't see the point. A visor should cover an inch or two of the top of the window. So sticking a visor on an frameless window would have to stick on the car. So not possible to have the visor hanging below the window top.

Exactly!, look at the pics of the BRZ mounted to the trim above the windows, we have the same type trim

I hear JC Whitney has a sweet Black Friday deal going on. Vent visors and curb feelers for $99.99. They're even throwing in synthetic lycra seat covers with lightning bolts on them.

I smoke, but only when having a drink and never in the house or my vehicles.

easy fix.. mount big ol' vent visors to the body. use the remote window open feature to Dukes of Hazards through the window. :D

Ok I guess you could open the door once the windows are down too but where is the fun in that!
