Oh I know they won't look good, but I doubt anyone would ever buy them for looks. If there's another way to keep the rain out WITH the window cracked open, I'm all ears.

I have a set on my F150. They look fine. But they are functional as well. On my truck, the windows are framed, so the visor is dropped below the window when installed. I can drop my windows an inch or more without rain getting in, heat getting out and without really looking up close, no one even knows our window is open when your vehicle is parked and unattended.

Now for a Mustang, I really can't see these being very functional. the windows are frameless, so the visor has to be stuck to the body of the the car.:tsk: The visor also has to clear the window when opening the door, so the bottom edge of the visor has to set slightly above the window when its fully up. So basically when the window is down, even minimally, you will see the gap between the window and the visor. I would think rain would still get in even with the visor in place.

Just my $0.02...:D

But whatever floats your boat....

Never thought about that aspect. Thanks. Looks like I'll just keep getting wet.

Get ceramic tint (20%) and a sun shade. I'm in the MOB and it has never gotten crazy hot with this combo.

If you drive really really fast and crack the window... I bet not that much rain will get in too often like 50% of the time if you're lucky....:ninja:

i like the style of those on the BRZ

I tried the AVS brand vent shades on my 2015 mustang and they sucked, stayed on the car 10 minutes and went straight in the trash.

when you open the door the window does not drop fast enough to clear the vent shade and scrapes it, and if you raise the vent shade so that it will clear there is no point in having it because it lets water in.

need a vent shade like shown for the BRZ that extends straight out and not down and mounts to the trim for a clean look.

and for everyone asking why would you? it gets very hot here where i live in the summer and love having these on my truck really drops the interior temps when sitting at work parking lot all day and don't have to worry about rain

Do you have tinted windows, A/C and remote start on your car?

Those things are ugly on pretty much any vehicle and twice as much on an S550.
