Otherwise leaving it as is.

After picking it up and given it a good wash, then I will break it in properly. After that, resonator delete, remove some exhaust restrictions (hi-flow cat), shed some weight, and then a good tune. When the warranty expires, then some forced induction, either Vortech S-Trim or a Pro Charger.

Would be cheaper and better to pull the 5.2, sell it, then put a built coyote in it. Or just buy a GT instead.

my motor will stay stock. won't even add a tune unless Ford provides one.
my only anticipated mods will be for safety at the track (rollbar, fixed-back seats, harnesses, FE)

Agreed with Bullitt, kind of taking away what this car is about. Plus the car has a 12:1 compression, I think you'd be fighting predetonation or at the very least have to run very small amounts of boost. Seems like a lot for a little....but through time some tuners will have it figured out, then you'll have an 800HP GT 350 that needs new rear tires every 1k miles!

I'll enjoy seeing the fireworks when people try forced induction. This engine wasn't meant for it.

Please just get a GT for that...

You can buy one with a supercharger already and 707HP . . also you can talk ADM over there as well. . . and in addition - pick a sedan or couple, your call!

I'm not trying to pick a fight and just share an opinion . . . but when I saw owners supercharge their bosses - same deal, buy a GT500. The car is designed as such to be a track purposed car - not the fastest in a straight line. . . and already even 444/526HP exiting a turn you can't drop the pedal to the floor, you'll just spin.

Perhaps buy a Cobra Jet? New rumored GT500? That will give you the HP!

Adding more power (in the hundreds of HP) just upsets the fine balance of the car. I think what in my opinion can be added is perhaps things that Ford couldn't do... (mainly to appease to a larger audience or demographic of 16 to 70 year olds)

Stiffer springs, shorter shift kit, one piece drive shaft, stronger suspension components... tune, whatever. . . In the end you lose the overall performance, you lose money (cost to buy, install and then sell a highly modified car at a huge loss)

Anyhow, to each it's own - that's why some people like cilantro or hate it.... I guess tomatoes as well.

I would say its more along the lines of buying a $250 A5 japanese wagyu ribeye...then proceeding to cook it to beef jerky status and then slather it in ketchup.

Adding FI disrupts the balance of the car, adds weight, introduces more parasitic heat, and will just make finding traction at the track even more of a chore. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. I would imagine a GT350 with a hundred more HP only marginally faster on a glory lap and with less staying power out on the track

I'm surprised at how many E9x M3 owners put superchargers on their cars. I friend of mine has a supercharged M3 and he said he is going to remove the blower soon because it adds 150+lbs to the front end of the car and he runs into heatsoak issues at the track.
