If I could change one thing about my interior it would be to get rid of all the fake chrome trim. Am I the only one? Have any of you guys found a way to do this?

Solution = ignore it or grow to like it. :D

Just kidding. That's a tough one.

I did what a few other members have done, and used scotch brite/etc to turn the gauge/vent rings into a brushed finish.

There are various ways to change trims prices on a car today
Plastdip a fully removable rubber like spray paint with many difrent colors and finishes
A very popular diy for any thing

Hydro dipping a wrap like permanent film applied underwater by professionals and some diy guys

Water dipping similar to hydro dipping but in a more cheaper and diy forum I personaly don't like it

And vivnly wrapping it a vivnly of any color or pattern that can be applied and removed

Or the old schools spray painting it
Dupli color actual makes a fit kit for black crome that looks very good imo
But not sure if that resolves your shiny proble

I cheated a little because the scotch brite took way too long. I had an old sanding sponge from refinishing my cabinets that I used instead. Not sure what grit it ended up after having been so used. But took no time at all.

the chrome trim on the steering wheel is annoying. The sun can reflect off of that into my eyes.
