If I weren't worried about warranty and a new engine, I would already have a Lund tune.

Just get with a reputable tuner and go for it. I had a lund tune on my car before the first oil change. No regrets here.

They are in development.
I’m reasonably sure the Bullitt motor is a form of “PowerPack 3” on a 2018 GT engine

The hell with the FRPP packages. When is someone going to put a CJ Manifold on one and Cams!!

Dont tell me it wont fit either. BMR adjustable motor mounts and a cutoff wheel to trim the hood will take care of any "fitment" issues LOL!!

The CJ fits just fine. It's when you try to run a different throttle body with an '18 ecu. The ecu uses a different communication protocol (single edge nibble transmission protocol.) All of the current throttle bodies for the CJ do not use this type of communication. An interface box of some sorts needs created.:gossip:

Huh? Im pretty sure the whipples on the 2018s use the same oval TB as the 2017s and I think the Bullitt uses the GT350 Intake manifold, TB, and Cold Air too.

I realize the GT350s are round TBs but point is how do they work on a Bullitt then if you say the computer wont allow it.

Care to back this up or who is saying a 2017 TB doesnt work.

Also why wouldnt a VMP twin 67mm or Whipple oval TB work on a CJ.

The reason why Whipples can get away with it is because they use the factory electric throttle body motor that the installer removes from the stock TB, then it gets transferred to the Whipple TB. CJ throttle bodies are not like this. They already have the motor installed but it does not communicate via SENT 3.0 protocol. Therefore, using them with an '18 ecu is difficult but not impossible.

As for the Bullitt, I think what everyone is going to find out real soon is yes, it is GT350-sized. But it has the newer '18 electric drive motor stuffed in the side of it :gossip:

Alex from VMP briefly talks about the CJ issue at 6:35.

Convertor box or whatever or not CJ is still the baddest IM available.

Obviously its been done and produces some pretty good gains.

Ill have to dig up the info of the CJ on a 2018.

http://id-motorsports.com/2018-cobra-jet-intake-manifold-install-kit/

That was easy.

Since the introduction of the Cobra Jet intake was introduced, It was quickly adapted to street driven coyotes. We have a lot of success over the years and refined driveability to be stock quality. With the 3rd generation of coyote having an updates stock intake manifold, we were curious what it would take to put the Cobra Jet on and start testing. Our first hurdle was the new throttle body electronics. It is a complete digital signal now and with suck tight tolerance. Once we past that hurtle it was time to start tuning. We where very pleased with the gains we found under the curve and peak. Even on E85 the stock fuel system keeps up with the added airflow the Cobra Jet intake moves.

Includeds:

FRPP Cobra Jet Intake
Ford 60mm Twin Blade Throttle Body or optional Ford Racing 65mm Twin Blade Throttle Body
IDM converter box
Rev Auto Cold Air Kit
UPR Engine Mounts
IDM Custom Tune

Blurry dyno chart but looks like about 500whp to me.

Sooo again the older TBs DO works but apparently this stupid digital convertor box is required.
