He offered us a Golden Ticket (copy) spec build on an order the dealership has in pipeline @ $15k over sticker, before haggling. I didn't try getting them dwn myself.
Also offered to build us an entirely different car w/that allotment in process, before it's to late to late chg any options.
They are a fair dealership. Small town but try hard.

So - they musta sold the GT500 they offered to us recently.. sounds like.

Koons had 1 or 2 in Maryland recently.
No idea what status of those are now.

don't be afraid to call some of these places that have the cars overpriced. the market has changed drastically and deals can be had with a little patience and negotiating.
I purchased my 21 CFTP a couple weeks ago. it had 950 miles on the car. it was listed for $125k, I got it for $106k delivered from California to Connecticut.

yes and no. enclosed shipping at the time (cali laws changed) was easily $3500+ and they wholesaled the car to a local dealer I traded my porsche in to so I didn't pay any taxes on the car.

its changed a lot. I came across a few deals while looking which included a brand new 22 for $5k over but I couldn't get it wholesaled.
look at the amount of cars that are sitting and not selling. its becoming a buyers market. just be patient and let the dealers sit on the cars even more. there are way less buyers then 2 months ago. the CFTP may not drop like the base cars do. the base cars are plummeting and continue to not sell.

I started calling around again about 3-4 weeks back and came across a dealership in Indiana that had one allocation left. They wanted 5k over so we jumped on that. I have called so many dealerships since April, most in Illinois, some in a few surrounding states. A handful of them will do an order at msrp but those ones didn’t have anymore allocations. Best of luck trying to find something. It is a crap shoot this late.
