I don't mean to be so blunt, but what's you're question? While I'm a Ford tech, we don't really skirt around with software functionality unless a situation arises that involves contact with a field engineer.

Why not make the question public? Several tuners are on this board.

I don’t understand the secrecy with the question…. Unless someone ventilated their block due to an aftermarket tune and is trying to see if Ford would be able to tell from a warranty claim perspective….

Just assuming at the above and probably wrong - but post the info/question, that’s what we are all here for - to learn and help each other.

Sorry was sensing some hesitation from the first guy that reached out so wanted to message him directly.

So, 2015 mustang TT track car.
We are almost done with jamming in a standalone ECU. Have lost some “comfit” areas but that’s to be expected.

but… with the SRS modules we see two areas were it tied into the can network to get speed, breaks rpm and I guess some other data. But, is the SRS has “lost” all that can data would said airbags go off if the impact sensors are triggered??? That’s where I am trying to get that clued up.
It’s a drag car and don’t think it will ever be on the road. BUT if something was to down the track it might be a welcomed surprise if the bags deploy.
Any advice will be great and taken with a grain of salt.
