Looking to compare my car against other n/a 15-17 mustang gt.

Specifically looking at 60mph-130mph times (although I would appreciate any rolling acceleration times or drag strip numbers).

My Car Specs: 2015 Mustang GT Premium, 6r80, stock converter, 3.15 diff, no weight reduction. Gen 3 Coyote Shortblock, 12.1:1 Compression Ratio, Gen 2 Heads, Stage 3 N/A Comp Cams, Valve Springs, Catless Headers, 47lb Injectors, Ported 2018 Manifold, JLT 120 CAI. Car runs on E85.

Fastest the car has been was a 9.18sec 60-130. D/A was 1200ft but car did have a -1.14% slope. Car has ran with lower D/A but hasn't been faster.
Car averages about 9.4-9.5sec 60-130.

I feel like I am running bolt on gen2 times and should easily be low 8s. Let me know!

No clue on gen 2s but stock A10s seem to run high 10s stock. Have you dyno'd your new engine yet? I'm guessing maybe 520ish? If your full weight thru the A6 in AZ I'd think mid 9s sounds about right.

Haven’t dynoed yet. I was beating stock A10s when I was fbo. I would expect to do a lot better now.

I'd say low to mid 9s are a lot better especially NA but i guess thats subjective. Did you do any runs before your new motor?

Ya but not draggy. Was probably mid 11s based on datalog.

Lost of bolt on gen 3s running low 8s and even sevens. Raced a header e85 10speed Camaro and lost by half a car (to be fair I had a passenger and he didn’t)

The A10 is a different animal though. That tranny is nuts. I highly doubt you'll see a bolt on A10 run anywhere close to those times in AZ.

Hey man not sure if your still same setup but from your mod list I would say that your stock heads and mainly your manifold are restricting your times. The 18 mani is not gonna flow well with the high revving cams. On top of that these cars need any all all weight reduction possible I’d start with a driveshaft and drag brakes such a baer. You should be seeing 60-130 times of at least 7s

Engine blew up just got it back together same setup. 115+F here rn. Even at night best I am getting is high 90s low 100s. Getting about 4000-5000 D/A.

Car is running about 10.3 60-130.

I am going to change to a custom ported boss with a bigger throttle body soon. Then I am going to focus on gearing. The 3.15 gears are long af and I feel like are really hurting my times. I start in 2nd gear and end at the top of 3rd.

Damn man I’m sorry to hear that what happened? But IMO I’d go with a ported CJ or a Holley manifold. Only go boss if it has a spacer and HEAVY porting. Ik a guy with ur same setup with a CJ and ported heads with some weight reduction running 5s 60-130. I’d say your setup is easily capable of 7s gearing may be an issue but I doubt it. Most I would say is switch to 3.31s I have 3.55s and I shift into 4th before 130

Ya I’m cutting the boss open and porting the inside and adding a spacer, cheap cobra jet haha. Then I’m doing a 95mm zr1 throttle body. Also I have the 6r80, so gears are super long, I assume you are talking about the manual? From my calculations I should do 3.73 gears or 4.10.

Good smart, but idk ab the throttle body that’s smth I’m not knowledgeable about. But nope I’m 6r80. 3.55 gears and I hit 4th at ab 115-120 with a 28inch tall tire

Are you sure you don’t mean 3rd? Here is my calculations for gearing. 3.15, 3.55, and 3.73. The 3.15 calcs are spot on. My tire is only about 26”.

No you are correct 3.15 yes but I’m saying 3.55 is at ab 120 which your calculations show.

Yes for 3rd gear, you kept saying 4th. Unless you mean shifting into 4th at 120.

You don’t think I should just do 3.73 if I do gears? And other than the manifold and lots of weight reduction idk what else to do.

Yes that’s what I was meaning yes. But in my opinion with the power level you are at it’s kinda hard to tell. If you do mainly rolls I’d say 3.31s or 3.55s. If you do digs then 3.73 may be worth it. Just worth mentioning shifting into 4th when roll racing tanks my car. I have lost many races in the last 10-20 mph bc I hit 4th and the car falls on its face due to being 1:1 gear
