if you want to get a lund tune, and you end up swapping to the ngauge or hyperbox later on, we aren't going to charge you to move the tune over.

my suggestion would be let us do a tune for you and if your not happy down the road, swap then.

we've been doing a lot of calibration updates to deal with the limited parameters
I've been trying to get updates to everyone that got tunes originally when first released.

we are always trying to make things better for the customer and want customers to be happy!

glad your happy!
Here's a question for you - Jon Lund II suggested the only real way to address these issues prior to the nGauge release was to swap the X4 for the Hyperbox, which I did, giving up the features of the X4. Are you now saying this wasn't necessary and I took a bath on the SCTx4 for no reason?

To add to that, when I went to Ken Bjonnes in person last Friday for a custom tune he said it wasn't necessary since I had the Hyperbox and that it had the same tune as was on his personal car, but if I had the X4 a custom tune would have been beneficial.

So what's the real answer here?

kens normal running tune is done using full access to all parameters.

they still swap to sct software as well, to try to work with the parameters they have access too there, to try to deliver the best possible tune available using the sct device.

with your pcm being the same as kens, with basically the same mods, you should have the best possible tune available at this time period.

if that makes sense

Youre saying with intake, tune, headers Ken will give you his tune since those are the same mods he has and the car will run flawless on blackbox or sct?

cars with the boxes are ran with the tune 100% the way we want them

cars with sct's are ran as closely as the tunes can be gotten the way we want them with the parameters we have access too.

that's the only way I can explain it

lund spends lots of time tuning / flashing with both devices to get the tunes as perfect as possible

Sounds like a plan! I just ordered the lund tuning from you guys. Can't wait to feel the difference. I hope you guys can tune for the 90mm TB. i know people say its a waste of $$$ but when i finally go FI I think having a bigger throttle body for the Procharger is going to help.
Nope

Waste of money, and the sct won't tune it for squat. TB's, other than a draw through s/c setup are a waste of $$

I am going 8.17 on the stock throttle body. The stock t/b has already been 7's and I plan on going 7's on it this year!!!!

:)

Jon Lund II is actually working with me right now to tune the CAI with out the restrictor plate. Sent a baseline "ballpark" tune and I'll send back some data logging to dial it in

Not trying to hijack the thread... Who can I get a custom tune through using a Diablo Sport inTune to flash? Doesn't look like there are many people talking about Diablo Sport on here. Is there a big difference between the SCT X4 and the inTune?
