No it's an auto. If.your asking because I said of the gears. I'm saying that because I have paddle shifters and in S mode I can change gears. So on my dash it's showing like I'm.doing that and going from 1st gear up to 5th and it's not going anywhere, nor am I paddle shifting.

Yes - Back fill us on what was swapped ...

Are you sure you have the 6R80 auto trans PCM in place and did you do any reflash of the As Built codes for the transmission (if you did a MT82 to 6R80 swap)?

Did you run through the entire engine bay to make sure your installer did not leave anything else unplugged?


I’m pretty certain there’s going to be differences between As Built code between a MT82 and 6R80 equipped S550... (if this is the basis for “swap”).

Nothing was swapped besides motor. Newer stock unblown motor put in. Stock auto trans. No swap. And yes I had actually somebody upload a wiiring diagram for me because I had to see where everything needed to go, and yes everything is hooked up. Just one in very front for the air shutter grill, so that's irrelevant to this problem.

I have them along with the full service manual on PDF and it is to large to upload ..
I thought I got it from Fordparts .. young man you really need the full service manual and should consider purchasing 1 .. DYIManuals.com

I really do, I agree. But with all the trouble I've had for this past year and a half. I'm.just trying to get the car running, driving and drive it to a dealer and trade in for a GT.

There is definetely something being forgotton.
Maybe take it to a shop and have them diagnose the problem. The sooner you get this fixed, the sooner you can trade in

Very true. Just sucks I have to get it towed and see what potentially it is but I deff agree :(

Make sure the converter bolts are in. You did a trans swap from manual to auto?

We should lay odds and start a pool. I said this back on post #6.
