How new is your four chamber can? About a year ago when they first came out with this new generation can that sat on the radiator hose, I bought one. I got quite a bit of liquid oil in the fitting coming out of the can.

When they came out with the round stainless steel mesh ring that went on the outside of the diffuser tube and I upgraded to the firewall mount, I now only get a slight oil film coming out of the outlet fitting.

They supposedly are coming out with solid diffuser discs in place of the perforated ones that are supposed to work even better. I'm not sure when those will be available though.

If yours looks like the inside of the one that shows the exploded diagram in your link, then I can see why you might be getting oil in the exit line.

That looks just like the first version of their can other than the first version had a lot longer diffuser tube and had three perforated diffuser discs compared to the one in that diagram.

Here is a picture of the additional round SS mesh ring that went on the bottom of the diffuser tube.

If your can is the short version, then it probably doesn't have room for this additional piece.

Here is what I found in the exit line of my first new generation can.

This is how my first original set up looked like.

Here is the new set up that has the additional SS mesh ring.

How much oil are you finding in the exit line? Like my first picture or less?

Is yours the short can or the long one?

I'm looking for a catch can to buy and I would like to understand better what's the difference between the 149$ product and 199$ single valve option.

In the other hand, the non-single valve product has an option for remote mount.

Which should I choose?

After reading all of the opinions I did a JLT catch can, mainly for peace of mind. After 500 miles here's what I got, about 1/2 ounce:

My JLT also caught a similar amount, yet i always read that it is inferior to Bobs etc. Is a switch to these supposed superior Systems advised?
