I was inspired by a couple posts here and figured I'd jump in and do a custom setup. Here is the plan.

Front Woofers: SB Acoustics SB17MFC35-4 6.5"
Front Midrange: Scanspeak Discovery 10F/8414G-10 4" (3.5" really)
Front Tweeters: SEAS Prestige 27TFFNC/G
Rear Subwoofer: Polk MM840 DVC 8" in Shaker box.
DSP: MiniDSP 6x8
Amplifiers: PDX-V9 and PDX-F4

I've already got the connectors from Mouser and soldered my RCA preouts and speaker leads. I plan to reuse the factory wiring for the door speakers.

Taking apart the interior is very easy. I have everything except the doors apart and it only took about 5-7 minutes total.

I'd like to thank ForTehNguyen for posting his build. That inspired me the most. And thank you to everyone that contributed to the sticky thread. I would not attempt this if it were not for the information in that thread.

Glad to see my thread behing helpful for another build. Hardware should be quite a bit cleaner with the new C-DSP from MiniDSP. Neo magnet on the midrange was probably a good choice so theres less of a fitment issue. Midrange was really tight fitting in the Dayton Audios to where I had to dremel some metal off the door.

for amp wire I would recommend buying arc welding wire, better quality and less expensive. I think i posted a link to them in my thread.

Yes thank you. Seeing your feedback on the clearance was one of the reasons I went with the scan 10F driver. That thing is pretty small.

I did buy the ARC welding wire from your link as well. And the spacer rings... Your thread was very helpful. :)
