Car got its first real wash today. Just couldn’t stand seeing it soo dirty. Cleaned up nicely

I went with the same color combo. I wanted the painted stripes but dealer said no so I had no choice but to go with vinyl.
I payed for a CF wing from Siritho but he gave me the shaft too. CC company made me whole. I then ordered the wing from Extreme On Line and I had it within 5 days for $1000 less than Charles price. Opted for a new lid, had it painted and restripesd. Very happy the way everything turned out. Best of luck.

Made complete sense to me the first time I read it. All good in the end, you know what it stands for.

So if I can get the actual vin on the car somewhere, what would be the next step?

If still looking for a confirmation, the VIN is etched on the original engine block bottom skirt, drivers side, just above the oil pan towards the back.

I know they are easily removed, but there are numerous decals applied that also contain the chassis number (based on a euro GT - but I can't see why a 500 would be any different).

Judging by what was left in my car, I have at least 9 with the chassis number and QR code, and another 1 with the chassis number and barcode applied in various places - but based on the 'spares' there could easily be more (or less) for other model variants / countries etc :

I have seen some of these on my car, but I can't remember where ...

Well talked to my local police and they said I can have the vin reassigned if they can look at the car and verify the original vin which is under the passenger seat. It’s a form they fill out called a vtr-68a and I take it to the dmv when I register the car. I will also order a new fin sticker for the driver door jam. Not sure if ford will issue me a new fin tag for the windshield if I provide all the docs stating it is what it is. Hope so.
