I believe it has to be a special order as noted on the order form to be locked in. If it was a stock order, it may not count.
This can be confirmed by the $$ numbers on the DORA, which also shows it was a special order.
It’s Ford honoring the price, not the dealer as they won’t eat that kind of loss.
