Hi everyone, I've done some searching and can't figure it out for sure. My question is about "playing" with the car in a controlled area, ie.. doing burnouts, donuts, drifting etc...
I have a base GT with PP and from what I've figured out the way to disable all the nannies is to push and hold the TC button for anywhere from 5-10 seconds I've read and then it will say "advance trac off" on the dash and the icon on the lower left of the dash will come on. looking on p.81 of the manual it's the "stability control off" light that will stay illuminated until I either shut the car of or push the button again.
1) Does the "stability control" light ever come on? If so, when should I see it on?
2) When in that mode, is the Torque management and clutch protection systems still active, ie... for drag strip duty, if so, is there a way to work around that so it doesn't limit throttle
3) I understand any of the reputable tunes will alleviate these things, but I haven't been able to find anywhere whether or not flashing the tune will void the warranty or not, I can't imagine since there's so many cars out there tuned, I can't see them all having voided their warranty.
Anyways, thanks in advance!
