Damn you must be devastated!

Glad there was no injuries.

I was rear ended whilst stationary at a set of lights a few months ago in my daughter's Mini.

The other party started to play games, so I went to the Police to lodge a report, and question whether the other party should be charged for neg driving!

That definitely worked! Hope you got some witness details.

It's amazing how many people are driving around uninsured!

Thanks for the info/opinions everyone.

I'm fully insured, witnesses are sorted as well. Police did not attend however.

It's all being handled by insurance now and I guess I'll just see the car once it's back to normal.

There's no need for you to be taking to Ford, that's the job of the panel shop, assessor / insurer.
Understand that completely, I was curious as to how long it may take and to get a general understanding of parts availability.

It's amazing how many people are driving around uninsured!
This is what scares me the most.

Glad no one was hurt and hope you are back on the road with it all fixed very soon. And yep, just lodge your claim with your insurer and let them deal with them. That's what you paid them to do.
