I've been at my new job in downtown Phoenix for a few months. In those two months an older gentlemen walking his German shepherd has approached me while driving down an empty road. There are homes to the left behind a long brick wall with a few small gates to be able to enter or exit the neighborhood. On the right there are two corporate buildings. One is 20 floors high and the other 12 floors. It's weird how they're next to each other. However there's a clear line of sight and nobody on the street. I could easily act a fool and hammer it down if I wanted to. The reason I don't is because there are various police buildings in the area. You never know who is in an unmarked car.

The reason he has approached me is because at the beginning of the block when I enter it, there are construction guys. I've met some grabbing a bite at the local roach coach. They like the car. When I drive by if I see them staring, I blip the throttle pretty good. Well it's not that often I do this. So happens today this guy decides to jump off the sidewalk and into the street to confront me. I had to swerve away to avoid him. Now I'm worried he'll come looking for the car and do something dumb to it. I guess I'll be a good mature man on the street.

Man people are weird. What if you were really a typical a-hole driver acting a fool and also on your phone when he jumped into the road? Then his self righteousness just got him killed or maimed. I don't get it.

I don't see harm in little blip, as long as you're doing the speed limit.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to others, as long as you're not breaking the law.
Today, my wife asked me why I blip the throttle during downshift.
I explained & demonstrated that downshifts without rev-matching jerks the car around and upsets the balance.
I told her I blip the throttle to provide her with more comfy and smoother ride.
It's all gravy, baby~

If he's looking for a fight then he will probably end up getting it.

Hooligan? No. Hoonigan? Probably. But most people in a Mustang probably are.

I would of swerved to avoid running his dumb ass over and kept going. Some people have nothing better to do.

Dash cam. And if he runs in front of your car again, hopefully you can stop in time...

People are just nuts anymore. Just yesterday, going home form work, the exit I take off the highway queues-up pretty bad in the afternoons and sometimes takes 2 or 3 cycles of the traffic light to get through. Exit ramp has 2 lanes and the inside lane backs-up more because that traffic is crossing, the right lane is a merge lane so people will come down the right and "dive-in" if there is an gap in the cars.....very frustrating for people who have waited patiently. So guy does it to me, "shoots the gap" and then hits his brakes and creeps through the intersection....I was livid and gave him a horn blast. Guy freaks and starts following me....we get side by side at next light and he rolls his window down and says "did I do something wrong?" No, you just cut in the line of 30 cars and were an a$$ by brake-checking me and creeping across the intersection.....guy had the nerve to tell me that honking at him was "rude".......driving anymore is like the twilight zone..........

Some people are weird. Especially mid-aged men, they always seem to have this ego issue.
