Thinking of Continental Extreme Contact.

What do you think? Any other suggestions ?

+1.

Keep in mind they are almost as bad as summer tires in snow but arguably the best all around performance tire for warm/cold dry/wet.

if you're not using them in the winter, why are you buying all seasons at all?
Good question. There's that thread on here from a guy who dinged his wheels with summer tires. Said there were issues/concerns with summer tires under 60 degrees. Got me worried about summer tires.

I'll be using these April through November (3 seasons). So, there will be some cold days in there. I think I'm safer with All-Season than Summer?

This is the only issue I have with getting the PP and the 19" summer tires. I'll be ordering the EB Premium with the PP and the very first thing I'm going to do, is go back to the 18" wheels and preferably get the "Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus" tires. Supposedly, they've been rated the most comfortable all-season touring tire. I'd rather have comfort over performance as I don't plan on doing any racing nor aggressive performance driving.

ive heard of that too.

i'd rather have performance though, and the new yokohamas tirerack recently tested looks good. i'm just waiting on their winter performance test.

otherwise the best all seasons ive owned are the continental DWS tires. however, like tirerack mentions, they're an old tire and there are other newer tires outperforming it now.

Don't lump all summer tires together. Those threads you read about are because of the original Pirelli PZero summer tires specifically and aren't really an issue for most other summer tires like the Michelin Super Sport or Continental ExtremeContact DW (which I have on my 2011 5.0). I've driven through 4 winters in subzero temps with my Conti DW tires and they perform spectacularly.

I am in CT and in the same boat looking for tires. Looking at the Continentals as well. They seem to get great reviews and ratings. Was also looking at Michelin PSS and Bridgestone Potezza S-04s. Will probably go with the Continentals seem like a solid bang for the buck.

If you aren't going to be driving agressively why buy a car with the Performance Package?

Save the $1995 on the PP and the $1000 on another set of wheels and tires.
