Bravo, this might be even better than cobbling the the GT500 filter w/GM braided hose option. More details on the fuel lines inside those sleeves, please. (100% steel hard lines, braided stainless?) Thanks.

The fuel hoses are OE style formed nylon with quick connect fittings and we supply the heat shielding to go over them also.
I will have an installed photo on its way shortly.
These are to mount on the left hand side of the engine bay to the K frame by the stut tower.

This is going to sound naive, but what is the benefit of a "flex filter"? Isn't the stock fuel filter designed for the ethanol content in modern gasoline?
Or is this more of a flow restriction thing for builds chasing quad digit HP numbers?

The issue is that basically all twin-pump conversions delete the fuel filter from the system. This is a good way to add one back.

Not naive at all. "Flex" refers to being suitable for different fuel types, generally E85 and gasoline. Our filter has a large surface area stainless steel cleanable filter that is suitable for all fuel types.

For many OE fuel filters that can simply be added into a fuel system as a post pump filter they aren't compatible with ethanol. Things like the adhesive used to secure the filter media inside, even the filter media itself may not be suitable. This can end up as debris and enter the fuel injectors and potentially cause irreparable damage to injectors or engine failures as a result of the injector being compromised.

@engineermike is correct in reference to the post pump filters that are normally built into the fuel pump modules in modern vehicles. Our fuel pump modules run 3 filters inside the canister but these are pre pump filters. Even the twin pump module in the GT500 has no post pump filter. That’s why they add one on the fuel line instead.

Any updates? April is coming to an end! I like you can add a pressure gauge to the setup easily as well.

Any safety/heat concerns with locating the filter housing in the engine compartment? What are the Ford Performance Racing School Dark Horses, equipped with the KPM800 system, using for their post-pump filtration?

I have one of these on order. Has yet to ship though, they also haven't taken the money from my account.

what is wrong with that solution? I just ordered the parts for that filter and hoses and it came out to around $125. Didn't see too much of a difference between the two but if there are issues with that solution I may want to steer away. Thanks.

Nothing at all, it's a simple and elegant engineering solution.

I've watched prototype/development vehicles burn to the ground from failed fluid joints relying on O-Rings and Nylon hard lines (Corvettes are especially difficult to extinguish) and I'm apprehensive about adding more pressurized fuel line failure points inside the engine compartment. I'm still curious how the Track Attack Dark Horse cars address their fuel filtration with the KPM800 Pump. I'm not sure about the filter media and true micron rating on the GT500 filter media but, if it's fine with E85, KPM hasn't provided further details of how their Mustang kit has better quality and/or value over the GT500 filter w/GM braided stainless line approach. I'm still thinking of figuring a way to add the filter under the car, like the OEM GT350/GT500 filter, but the under-hood approach might be the most practical solution?

You can buy the entire gt500 fuel line with filter from ford for $200 iirc, which seems very reasonable to me. However, you have to drop the entire exhaust, driveshaft, and tank to swap it in.
