If you're a newer Eco owner looking where to start with mods, this post is for you.

Holy shit, I am very excited. Follow up to my last post the night before (https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...-the-daily-driving-sound.144685/#post-2963269) I got my muffler delete. Local places quoted me anywhere between $200-$500 for a Muffler Delete, but I found a guy about an hour out who did it for $60.

There was a highway drive on the way back. Absolutely zero droning. The car is bone stock (aside from the muffler delete I just did), occasionally mid-high RPM revs give some pops and bangs. It still doesn't go ballistic like my 07 GT did sound wise, but it turns heads when you launch at a stoplight.

11/10 if you want your 4cyl that's still great for daily, but has some sound (as a Mustang should) muffler delete straight pipe is absolutely the way to go. Tips are about 2.5".

muffler delete on the EB sounds too ricey. Nope.
Im glad I went with mbrp carback race.

I think I read somewhere that a muffler delete leads to power loss. Not sure if on the low , mid , or upper rpms though...

I like all sounds, glad you got an exhaust you are happy with. Theres a guy on here who loves his muffler delete, and uses resonated tips, Hiflo? I think his name is.

Fwiw, I did a catted 3" downpipe, resonator delete with a y pipe, left the stock mufflers and added magnaflow tips.

zero drone at any rpm, gets a deep growl on the pedal and idles almost silent. Gets lots of whistle bov and wastegate noises as well.I

Tune + said no tune changes required for the resonator delete.

That may be an old wives tale, I personally don't see anything, maybe I'll run some times on it and see how it's doing.

I think I'm gonna keep the Resonator. From videos and discussion Resonator delete does not sound much different from the muffler delete alone, and I really don't want that droning during distance driving. I did order a Bypass Valve Adapter so I can get some of that beautiful whooshing.

I love the EB man, I wouldn't change a thing about it except for the exhaust. Don't need any other enhancements aside from this :like:

Turn off active noise cancelation via forescan. Chances are that system will induce droning to people who did exhaust and sub additions without disabling it

Even though it’s posted everywhere, it seems people read it and don’t understand it because it never gets brought up

I did a resonator delete, stock muff!ers, catted 3" downpipe.
Zero drone at any speed.

Also, the noise cancellation has more of a negative impact on the audio system than the exhaust sound.

That's me! Love it 1000%. Johndoe inspired me to go with resonated tips when I did my muffler delete. I think the tips helped to tame the sound just enough to keep from being obnoxious.
