So just put on some new Conti DWS06 tires on my car and it's lowered with BMR springs (089/082) and Koni Sport shocks.

The alignment shop has a normal alignment for $69 and then one for $169 that lets you bring the car in 3 times in the next 3 years to have it aligned again.

I don't mind spending the additional money if it's something that I'm going to use.

After a normal alignment, how long would that last under normal conditions? I mostly drive freeway. Would I need to align the car every year or would the alignment last a while? Which alignment option would you go with?

Thanks

Rick

I do one alignment for any major mod I do.

So far it's been 2 times: 1)springs/dampers, 2)steeda spacers and LCA

Unless you're messing with your suspension or getting into autox, strip or track...once is enough.

I've been told once is enough also. I haven't had my mustang aligned yet but I've had other cars aligned by shops that dealt with higher end Porsches/track cars and both have said once is enough unless you make changes or can't avoid potholes. They've both said any shop that tells you any different is trying to rip you off.

I always buy a lifetime alignment from Firestone. One price and take it back every week if you want/need too

Make it's a 4 wheel alignment and not a front end alignment. Some shops don't always specify.
