So my car is currently being aligned and I have some negative camber in the rear that the techs are having trouble getting out. Can this be done through alignment or am I going to need to install a supporting mod? I'm at like -2.4 right now. I believe OE specs are -2.2 but I could be wrong. Anyone who can help me out here I'd appreciate it. Maybe a trick to get more camber out or will I be good at that spec.

That is way to much!

Ford recommends around:

Front: -1.0 negative camber
Rear: -1.5 negative camber

FRPP setup:
Front: -1.5
Rear: -1.9

I know it's too much, I'm wondering what can be done to get it down. They're saying they can't get it much closer.

Ah sorry buddy.

For the front get BMR camber bolts.

The rear of the car has camber adjustment, just under the bolt and slide the arm side to side and re-tighten.

If the range offered is not good enough, get the Steeda rear camber arms. :)

The guy doing the alignment said he moved them as much as they could go. I already have the BMR camber bolts for the front.

what lowering springs
Performance springs.

So here are the final numbers.

Front:
Camber
Left: -0.6 Right: -0.8
Caster
Left: 8.1 Right: 7.9
Toe
Left: 0.01 Right: 0.00
Steer Ahead
0.01

Rear
Camber
Left: -2.1 Right: -2.4
Toe
Left: 0.00 Right: 0.01
Thrust Angle
0.13

I think the rear toe should be .10 on each side. Also, I have the BMR Adjustable Toe Rods, can I adjust toe and camber with those? I am going to bring it back to them Saturday morning to have them fix it.

Not so bad, but you really want rear camber around -1.8 on a road car, it will handle better, so guess you need the Steeda camber arms.

Yes your toe is wrong, be careful as with 0.00 toe on the rear the car could be unstable under braking and the rear-end will come out easier and faster. Ideally you want positive 0.14 toe in either side for 0.28 positive toe in across the axle to improve the handling stability and control. :)

I had a feeling the toe was wrong but by the time he showed me the car was off the rack and I worked overnight so I was pretty beat. I told him I would bring it back Saturday. Can anyone attest that the toe rods will adjust camber too? I tried calling BMR first thing but I forgot not everyone works Christmas Eve. I appreciate the help.

No they only adjust toe.

Camber bolt is on the upper arm close to diff housing, undo and it has a little play left to right which adjust camber.

I just ordered the performance lowering springs from BMR. I will be putting them on my GT with PP.
What are the ideal numbers I need for my alignment when I take it in. I would rather walk in to a shop knowing what I want. I don't trust the shops around here to know what they are doing.
On that note does anyone here from the metro detroit area know a place they would recommend to do my alignment?
Thanks in advance

You sure there isn't a typo on the front toe numbers above? It's almost a full degree of toe in and if true, I'm afraid that's going to kill your front tires in short order. Spec is +/- .20 total.

What did you do to be able to get it sorted out? Did you have to buy something?
