Alignment for GT

I recently had Bilstein B6s front and rear installed on my non PP 2021 GT - on stock GT springs. I installed the rears and farmed the fronts to a local shop which has a decent following and reputation. In speaking with the the shop, I requested the alignment be stock GT specs with the goal of a smooth highway cruiser that may occasionally see some canyon driving (no plans to track). Upon getting my car back, the alignment specs are clearly PP2.

If my goals are a highway cruiser that sees long road trips, yet still has an engaging fun drive, should I run this alignment?

My next improvement will be SVE PP2 19x10 squared wheels with Continental DWS06+ 275/40/19, continuing that goal of a smooth ride. Therefore, I don't want an alignment that will cause excess tire wear.

Please provide insights regarding this alignment.

The only thing adjustable on your car is front toe and they jacked that up. Toe in an one side and toe out on the other for total toe of .05 in. I mean it works but WTF?

They did a decent job with the rear toe but never touched rear camber. .3 spread ain't the end of the world.

Does it track straight and is your wheel centered?

Before we go grab shotguns and storm the place, keep in mind there's a steering wheel involved and if gets turned slightly the rack numbers might read toe numbers like that, the front toe is fine if it drives straight with the wheel centered. The tech knows what he was doing.

They probably actually did adjust the rear camber on the right.. Changing the toe 0.2 cross talks to the camber, so they had to monkey with both to get the camber back that close. I agree 0.3 delta side to side aint perfection, but for a daily its probably fine, and the toe is spot on. The rear suspension its very hard to get super close with both.

To the OP - Alignment numbers look basically fine. The car should be stable under power with those numbers. If the steering wheel not is centered or it always kicks the ass to one specific side when you launch it hard, then you could go get it tweaked.

In the short time I've had to test drive the car, finding a flat non crowned road was difficult. If I had to give my honest opinion I think the steering wheel is canted slightly left. Road crews threw salt where I am so a true hard launch may have to wait a couple months.

They actually did not adjust the front toe at all. All they did was turn the steering wheel. It likely wasn't perfectly straight on the initial roll. Total toe was exactly the same from before to after. This was absolutely a rear toe and go. I would have been embarrassed to charge full price for this partial alignment. Honestly, the setting that they are using on that Hoffman alignment machine which displays every green reading as perfectly centered tells me that they don't care enough to actually get alignments perfect.

The communication with this shop initially was outstanding. Upon picking up my car, it was like I walked into an entirely different place and no one know anything about anything. I'd gladly go somewhere else for a good alignment if it will be done correctly.
