Airbag Light

Hey guys,

Installed the GT350R wheel a few weeks ago. Not driven the car since but when I started it up today I've got an airbag warning light illuminated on the dash.

Any idea how to fix this?

Usually means a trip to dealer for reset.

Not sure if ford is the same but for my old BMW you needed to disconnect the battery when removing airbags to avoid this.

Did you disconnect the battery for 30 minutes before you changed the wheel?
You may need to get it removed with a scan tool.

Yeah, I left the battery for well over an hour.

You should always disconnect the battery for 30 mins before doing any work involving airbags just in case they go off.

Did you connect the 2 airbag connectors the right way around??:shrug:

I'm pretty positive they're the right way round but I'll give it a check

Thanks for the suggestions guys!
Turns out the little orange tabs on the airbag connectors weren't clicked all the way down.
Error message is gone.
