I've seen these mentioned before. I've looked through my grill and was wondering what people were talking about. I was just reading David@Steeda's thread about the Mishimoto EcoBoost Oil Cooler Install. In that thread I could clearly see the shutters others have mentioned. Now I'm positive my car doesn't have these. Is there any reason some cars don't have them? Mine is a Premium PP auto if that helps.

I have an Ecoboost Premium PP and I have them. They are quite a ways back from the grill and are open when the car is off

I look through my grill and see just radiator. I can see well enough that I clearly see the 2 angled support bars on both sides near the top but there are no shutters going across.

You should definitely have them, are you tuned at all? They might be set to 100% open all the time and you aren't seeing them.

No, not tuned "yet" and even if they are wide open, I still think I could see them right? I mean I can see those support brackets very clearly and the radiator is completely unobstructed other than those.

Is your car a convertible? I think the convertibles don't have the shutters from something i read before.

That's it. Thanks! I wonder what the appearance package would have to do with the shutters? Wouldn't think there is anything that would be in the way there.

The grill on 50th anniversary package is set in deeper than the normal Ecoboost grill so the shutters wouldn't fit behind it

I don't have them either. What I do have is a paint run in my front bumper, which I think is a PP bumper?? My car is a base. Think I bought a f'd up car at the dealer.

If it's not a GT, vert or 50th and you live in 'Merica then your car is F'd up. I don't think the pp makes any difference in the bumper for the Ecoboost
