I'm guessing that's what happened to me and cooked the belt a bit.I had my original AC compressor lockup twice and throw the AC belt.
Picked up a 17 Grand Sport 5 months ago and love it. $11,500 off msrp. 1lt. Love the rev match on the manual. Coupe red / red with black wheels and trim. Sorry but the 2016 track pack 350 just never worked out for me. That was over a year ago. To be honest my 2007 Shelby G.T has a much better paint and panel fit then my 2016 350 track pack car had.Check out the new C7 GrandSport - incredible fit and finish and performance to match.
I lament that I am too tall to fit comfortably in the Vette. I looked at the grand sport and really liked it. But it's just not in the cards.Picked up a 17 Grand Sport 5 months ago and love it. $11,500 off msrp. 1lt. Love the rev match on the manual. Coupe red / red with black wheels and trim. I’m 6’5” 205 and with the seat all the way back in the GS no different then the 350 in fitting me. Actually the Recaro seats in the 350 are a bit tight.I lament that I am too tall to fit comfortably in the Vette. I looked at the grand sport and really liked it. But it's just not in the cards.
I wanted to experience the GT350 and I am enjoying the car for what it is. My 15 GT had the A/C issue and the drive train vibration. The dealers pissed me off right away and that was enough for me to get rid of the car.
If the Shelby ends up going the same path, I'll get rid of it in a New York minute.
Well, my car is back and AC is working, but all they did was recharge it. I can't imagine a car losing refrigerant in 1 year/7K miles without a leak.
I'm assuming it will eventually fail again and they can actually fix it then...
yup evap core, dealer had my gt for a weekWell, that didn't take long...
AC went out again on the 25th. Fortunately, SoCal was in the midst of a record breaking heat wave so it was really easy to tell in 100 degree weather. I didn't notice in the morning on the way to work - thank God I have a short commute cause it was painfully evident on the way back home. :headbonk:
Oh I found my belt hanging off of my front subframe lol. Belt end trails all over the block.I'm guessing that's what happened to me and cooked the belt a bit.
So, my car is still in the shop since dropping it off on the 25th Of October. Dealer doesn't expect it to be done until next week... :frusty:Well, that didn't take long...
