My car has been in storage for the last 6 weeks due to shoulder surgery. I was on the freeway and fired up my AC for the first time since and there was smoke pouring out of the back of my car. AC wasn't cold. Anotheronebitesthedust...literally. :(

For me ther'es no warm moist air, just feels like the fan is on.

I had my original AC compressor lockup twice and throw the AC belt. First time it happened was after a 170MPH run while coasting down. Got the belt replaced and everything seemed good.

The second time happened while coasting down after a run at the drag strip. This time it knocked the main accessory belt off as well.

Had the compressor replaced and haven't had an issue since last year and over 5000 miles. The dealership told me the compressor is specific to our vehicles. They originally ordered one for a 5.0 and it didn't fit.

Check out the new C7 GrandSport - incredible fit and finish and performance to match.
Picked up a 17 Grand Sport 5 months ago and love it. $11,500 off msrp. 1lt. Love the rev match on the manual. Coupe red / red with black wheels and trim. Sorry but the 2016 track pack 350 just never worked out for me. That was over a year ago. To be honest my 2007 Shelby G.T has a much better paint and panel fit then my 2016 350 track pack car had.

I lament that I am too tall to fit comfortably in the Vette. I looked at the grand sport and really liked it. But it's just not in the cards.

I wanted to experience the GT350 and I am enjoying the car for what it is. My 15 GT had the A/C issue and the drive train vibration. The dealers pissed me off right away and that was enough for me to get rid of the car.

If the Shelby ends up going the same path, I'll get rid of it in a New York minute.

I’m 6’5” 205 and with the seat all the way back in the GS no different then the 350 in fitting me. Actually the Recaro seats in the 350 are a bit tight.

Well, my car is back and AC is working, but all they did was recharge it. I can't imagine a car losing refrigerant in 1 year/7K miles without a leak.

I'm assuming it will eventually fail again and they can actually fix it then...

Well, that didn't take long...

AC went out again on the 25th. Fortunately, SoCal was in the midst of a record breaking heat wave so it was really easy to tell in 100 degree weather. I didn't notice in the morning on the way to work - thank God I have a short commute cause it was painfully evident on the way back home. :headbonk:

Me too. Nothing but warm air. Wasn't a problem with the cool temperatures we've had recently until today where it's raining to beat the band and I needed the cool air to keep the windows from fogging. Appointment for service and to get this checked on the 8th

So, my car is still in the shop since dropping it off on the 25th Of October. Dealer doesn't expect it to be done until next week... :frusty:

My A/C was perfectly fine for about 8000 miles and suddenly one day I see green stuff all over and when I mean all over, I mean literally all over my garage floor. Obviously A/C is blowing hot air. Car went in and was out in 2 days, new compressor and new A/C lines. It has been 7000 miles since then and no issues.
